Odessa, TX, September 27, 2025 – PFLAG Midland-Odessa is proud to announce the 6th Annual Basin Pride Festival, a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, community, and allyship. This year’s festival, themed “Masquerade: Unmasking Your Truth,” will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Ector County Coliseum, Barn G.

While Pride Month is traditionally celebrated in June, Basin Pride, PFLAG Midland-Odessa, and their sister organization Out in West Texas believe that pride is timeless. This free, family-friendly event is designed to uplift, educate, and unite the Midland-Odessa community through a day of live performances, local vendors, community resources, and joyful celebration.

“Many of us felt like we were wearing a mask our whole lives.” said Adriana Aguilar, Chair of Basin Pride. “In a time when LGBTQ+ rights and visibility are more important than ever, we’re creating a space where everyone can feel seen, supported, and celebrated. The ‘Masquerade’ theme reminds us that authenticity is our greatest strength.”

Basin Pride, a grassroots collective, has organized this festival for six years, and PFLAG Midland-Odessa is honored to present the event to ensure its alignment with nonprofit values and community impact.
